So much art
Something had to be done about it. Browsing the craft beer aisles at the local stores kept exciting me with not just the incredible work, but the breadth of style that was shaping the industry at large. With Flying Dog Brewing (at the time) in Maryland, and admiring Ralph Steadman's work for many years, it seemed like there was something worth investigating.
After some seemingly dead ends, the concept was resurrected in 2023 and principal photography for the pilot began in January of 2024, in Kent, England.

Hank Vohrer
Co-Producer, Director, DP, Editor
Hank is the owner and lead creative of Percepto Studios. He has been crafting films across industries, brands and styles, working on commercials, documentaries and both narrative shorts and features for more than 15 years. His background as a painter, illustrator and designer has complimented and expanded my cinematic endeavors in my agency. He writes, produces, directs, DP's, edits, designs graphics and VFX that have earned accolades and success in each pursuit.
Chara Bauer
Executive Producer
With a background in Clinical Education, Chara Bauer has developed a portfolio of scripts, most notably a medically based feature film and has produced and starred in the proof-of-concept short film. With over 10 years of experience in project management and film producing, Chara supports a wide array of projects with local artists and the Charm City Filmmakers in Baltimore. For her, the intersection of art and philanthropy are key elements of making impactful art. As an executive producer, she brings this mindset to Drawing Under the Influence and would love to explain how the team has been approaching this docuseries about beer, as a way to give back and foster community.
